Hybrid PV inverters
A hybrid inverter converts DC from the panels into AC while also managing charging and discharging of the energy storage. This way, surplus generation goes into the batteries rather than the grid, boosting self-consumption and letting you use your own energy in the evening, at night or during a power cut.

LV or HV?
- Low-voltage inverters (LV) work with batteries at approx. 48 V. They are a good choice for smaller and medium-sized home installations and for modular expansion.
- High-voltage inverters (HV) operate with batteries above 100 V. At higher voltage, transmission losses are lower, so HV is a popular choice for larger homes, businesses and commercial sites.
The inverter and storage must operate at the same voltage and be compatible with each other. You will find a list of compatible batteries in each product description.
How to choose a hybrid inverter
- Number of phases - most listings are three-phase models; choose single-phase if you have a single-phase supply.
- Power - from 2 to 125 kW; for homes, 5-10 kW inverters are most common.
- Features - backup power (backup), number of MPPT, monitoring via Wi-Fi or LAN, parallel operation.
